Dork Diaries

In this first book of the series, readers are introduced to Nikki Maxwell as she enters a new private school, Westchester Country Day. She soon realizes that her classmates are snobbish and extremely wealthy, who are decked in designer clothes every day. Nikki does not fit in with this crowd and keeps to herself, penning thoughts in her trusted diary.

Much to her chagrin, her locker is right next to mean girl MacKenzie Hollisterƒ??s locker, who instantly brands Nikki as a dork. To make matters worse, she goes head-on and competes with Nikki in an art contest.
