Endless Night starts off with the love story of Michael Rogers, who is the protagonist, and Fenella ??Ellie? Guteman. They fall in love with each other at first sight. The two first meet at Gipsy??s Acre, which is a piece of land facing the sea, and is filled with dark fir trees.
As he met his love for the first time at Gipsy??s Acre, he decides to build a house for themselves on the acre, after they get married. Even after repeated warnings from the natives regarding the curse on that land, Rogers doesn??t relent. He then builds his house at Gipsy??s Acre, which leads to a number of disastrous events in the life of the couple. This novel is quite different from other books by Christie due to its unique tone.
