Robin of Locksley was on his way to an archery contest when he was tricked into killing one of the King??s deer by two soldiers. He was labelled an outlaw and forced to hide in Sherwood Forest, outside Nottinghamshire. He immediately gained notoriety for stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. With his band of merry men, he constantly pokes fun at the Sheriff of Nottingham and King John. Among his merry men are the unforgettable Little John, the jolly old Friar Tuck and the wandering minstrel Allen-a-Dale.
