The Lost Story

The Lost Story is a book written in a unique and refreshing concept thought of by the authors Amit and Sudhanshu. It is a series of short stories written by the duo, with one of them writing the first half of the story and the rest being completed by the other, with neither of them discussing the plot lines or concept in any of the tales. The fight to maintain the balance and the ordering of the chaos of difference in their storytelling styles make this book an exciting piece.

With two wild imaginations set loose in making this book, the genres expected by the reader form a confluence as the stories they write are nothing similar to each other. The character they have placed into the story to give form to their writing is Sandy, a young aspiring writer whose idol is the recluse Saleem Afzal. Saleem has his own stories apart from those he completes for Sandy, just like the real life authors duo. Most of the commentary in the book is Sandy trying to gather more about his idolƒ??s life, like the locked room in his house and most importantly, the Lost Story.

The Lost Story has been well received by readers who appreciate its story within a story concept and its intricacy. It was published in 2012 by Grapevine India Publishers and is available as a paperback.
