The Man-Eaters Of Tsavo tells us the story of John Henry Patterson when he arrived in East Africa to build a bridge over the Tsavo River. Patterson soon realizes that other than engineering problems, he has to deal with man-eating lions that would stop at nothing to spill blood. Patterson and team??s initial attempts to lure, cage, trick the lions into captivity turn futile, as the beasts start sneaking into the hospital in order to pick off easy injured victims. More than 100 workers fall prey to these vicious hunters and Patterson is forced to hunt down these creatures before they can do more harm. During his hunting spree, Patterson encounters cobras, zebras, hippopotamuses, rhinoceroses, wild dogs and other wild animals. In his attempts to hunt the beasts, he is frequently haunted with the fear of being hunted.
