Georges Prosper Remi, known by the pen name, Herge, is the creator of Tintin, the detective reporter and a host of other wonderful characters. He was born on 22 May, 1907, in Brussels and had the gift of drawing as a child. His works include twenty-three volumes of the Tintin adventure series, all written and drawn by himself. He passed away in the year 1983, on the 3rd of March, leaving his last book incomplete
